Serving more than 500 students in grades 5-8, this 88-year-old Norristown, PA, middle school in the Norristown Area School District was in need of a well-deserved rejuvenation. Beginning in 2012, the district took on a multi-phased renovation project of Stewart (with ESCO CM3 serving as GC) that included the installation of central air-conditioning, a new roof, masonry work, and landscaping improvements.
An additional energy-saving component of this project was the replacement of 438 windows (with new Graham Architectural windows), which also allowed for better natural light and increased comfort within the school’s facilities.
